Ukraine ready for US-backed talks with Russia: Zelenskyy
Ukraine's Zelenskyy says his country is ready for three-way peace talks with the US and Russia this month, possibly in the UAE.
Trilateral talks could happen this month in UAE or another US-proposed venue, says the president.
President Zelenskyy announced Ukraine is ready for trilateral talks with the US and Russia before the end of October.
Zelenskyy made the comments alongside German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Kyiv, saying the UAE or another US-proposed venue could host the meeting.
Despite talk of negotiations, both sides say they will keep up long-range strikes, and Russia is targeting Ukraine's energy grid as winter closes in.
