The Dooly County Sheriff said more than 1,000 people had gathered for the homecoming celebration and at least 50 shots were fired across two locations a block apart.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation joined the probe and the investigation was ongoing, with no suspect or motive publicly identified as of Sunday.
