About Cuppa

Cuppa is a free daily games and news site made for Australians. Every morning we put together a quick crossword and word search, a news briefing on the stories people are actually talking about, the local weather, and nearby petrol prices, all in one place you can check over your first cup of tea or coffee.

The idea is simple. Give people a reason to visit once a day, keep it quick, and make it genuinely useful. There are no paywalls and no subscriptions. You can play, read, and check the weather without signing up for anything.

Cuppa is independently built and operated in Australia by Sideprojects Unit Trust. We're a small team, not a media company, and we like it that way. It means we can move fast on the things people actually ask for, like a new puzzle or a better weather widget, instead of sitting through committee meetings.

The news you see comes from third-party publishers, and we link back to the original source so you can read the full story where it was written. Our job is to bring it all together into one tidy morning routine. For the detail, read how Cuppa works.
