Two women allegedly assaulted by gang of home invaders in Sydney
Three young men have been arrested after two women were separately targeted in violent home invasions in Sydney's southwest, with police alleging the victims were researched beforehand.
Two women were allegedly punched and restrained with duct tape by a trio of thugs during a pair of terrifying home invasions earlier this week.
Three men aged 18 to 20 were arrested after allegedly breaking into two Sydney homes and violently assaulting and robbing two women on separate nights.
Police allege the men used knives and duct tape, punched the women, and had researched the solo female occupants before targeting them in Arncliffe and Bankstown.
The trio face serious charges including aggravated break and enter and aggravated robbery, and police believe they may have been planning further attacks.
