PETALING JAYA: One of the Malaysians unaccounted for following the devastating floods in Nepal has been confirmed safe and returned to Malaysia, says the group representing Malaysians missing in Nepal.
A Chinese Malaysian who went missing after catastrophic Nepal floods in August has been confirmed safe and returned home after 37 days.
The man was stranded near Nagthali Viewpoint when floods destroyed roads and bridges, cutting off electricity, water and internet access in the area.
Fifty-four Malaysians remain unaccounted for, and families are still waiting to meet the Prime Minister to discuss what happens next.
