NSW severe thunderstorm warning: Tornado filmed at Ulladulla
A mini tornado tore through the NSW coastal town of Ulladulla on Saturday, ripping roofs off homes and downing trees and powerlines, with severe storm warnings issued across Sydney and surrounds.
Footage of small tornadoes wreaking havoc in a small coastal town have proceeded serious weather warnings for parts of NSW.
A mini tornado struck the coastal town of Ulladulla, about 230km from Sydney, blowing roofs off properties and downing trees and powerlines on Saturday.
The NSW SES received 180 calls by 6pm Saturday and crews responded to nearly 30 jobs related to the tornado alone, with severe thunderstorm warnings issued across greater Sydney and surrounds.
All warnings for Sydney and Illawarra were cancelled by 8pm, but a general thunderstorm warning remains for the Central Tablelands and Central West Slopes and Plains regions.
If you're in central NSW, a general thunderstorm warning is still in place - park cars undercover, secure loose items and stay away from fallen powerlines.
