However, an increasing number of cases are now being reported among younger women, highlighting the need for greater awareness and early attention to breast health.
Pathology experts from 50 medical colleges across India and the USA gathered to discuss the rising rate of breast cancer in younger women.
Cases once mostly seen in women over 45 are now increasingly appearing in women aged 25 to 35, the organising secretary told the conference.
