Alison Hammond left ITV's This Morning mid-broadcast on Friday clutching her chest, and was taken to hospital for a heart check-up.
Doctors gave her the all-clear, leading Hammond to conclude on Instagram that she had a panic attack on live TV, saying she is new to panic attacks and needs to learn more about them.
Hammond thanked NHS staff and her This Morning colleagues, saying she will take some rest before returning to the show.
