Zara Larsson criticises White House for using her song in deportation video
Swedish singer Zara Larsson called out the White House for using her song in an immigration enforcement video, and the song was removed from the post.
The White House removed Larsson's Midnight Sun from one of its reels after the artist called the clip "dehumanising".
The White House used Zara Larsson's song Midnight Sun in a social media reel showing ICE agents conducting immigration raids.
Larsson posted a three-minute reaction video calling the clip dehumanising, which has since clocked up more than 4.2 million TikTok views.
The song was removed from the post, joining a growing list of artists including Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo who have forced the White House to pull their music.
