US District Judge Tim Kelly ordered the Trump administration to reinstate White House press passes for CNN, MS Now and Politico journalists.
The judge found the ban, announced on September 18th, lacked factual support for national security claims and likely violated the First Amendment.
The administration must return the outlets' passes immediately and is blocked from enforcing the ban for 14 days while the legal challenge continues.
