Moscow’s mayor describes attack as ‘largest ever’ on the Russian capital
Ukrainian forces launched more than 1,000 drones at Russia overnight, with hundreds aimed at Moscow in what the city's mayor described as the largest ever drone attack on the capital.
Two people were killed and 20 wounded across the Moscow region, with damage reported to an oil refinery and a residential building, according to local officials.
The attack came on the final day of Russian parliamentary elections that Ukraine condemned as illegal because they included voters in regions Moscow has annexed from Ukrainian territory.
