Russia's Ministry of Justice declared acclaimed director Andrey Zvyagintsev a foreign agent after he publicly criticised the war in Ukraine.
Zvyagintsev had just won the 2026 Cannes Grand Prix for Minotaur, a film about a Russian businessman forced to choose which employees are sent to fight.
