Emmy-nominated actor Melanie Lynskey has been cast as convicted murderer Erin Patterson in a six-part Paramount+ series called Mushroom Murders: There's More to Unearth.
The show covers the 97 days between the 2023 beef wellington lunch that killed three people and Patterson's arrest, and is set to premiere in 2027.
Patterson, sentenced to life in September 2025, is currently appealing her convictions, with her lawyers calling the outcome a catastrophic failure of the justice system.
