Manchester City players returned to training after the Premier League found the club guilty of the majority of 115 charges, including using sham contracts to hide over £830 million in funding.
Coach Enzo Maresca addressed the squad on their return, asking them not to let the crisis affect their attitude, with striker Erling Haaland publicly echoing that message.
City have launched an appeal and maintain their innocence, while rival clubs have reportedly told their managers not to comment publicly on the verdict.
