Crew hurried to International Space Station eight months ago after astronaut fell ill in space
Four astronauts from the US, France and Russia returned to Earth via SpaceX splashdown off the coast of Los Angeles after eight months on the ISS.

Seven astronauts from the US, Russia and Canada remain aboard the station, which has now hosted 298 visitors from 26 countries since 2000.
This was NASA's first medical evacuation in 65 years of human spaceflight, a reminder of the risks astronauts face on long missions.
