Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany collapsed while watching a reserve-team training session on Friday and was taken to hospital for examination.
Kompany had been battling a virus that left him in pain and struggling to walk on the touchline during last weekend's win over RB Leipzig.
Bayern said his coaching staff will handle all training and match operations while he remains under medical care, with the club wishing him a speedy recovery.
