Meghan 'distressed' by child sex abuse image allegations against father
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, says she is deeply distressed by allegations that child sexual abuse images were found at her estranged father Thomas Markle Sr's former home.
"My thoughts are with any children who may have been harmed," Meghan said
Meghan issued a public statement saying she was deeply distressed after reports that hundreds of child sexual abuse images were found at her father's former home in the Philippines.
Meghan also revealed a letter containing troubling allegations about her father was sent to London's Metropolitan Police back in 2018, and she was told it was being investigated.
Meghan said her long estrangement from her father and her decision to keep him away from her children was made for one reason, to protect them.
