Cate Blanchett paused during a curtain call to ask the audience to stop filming, after noticing someone recording between acts while the cast were still on stage.
Blanchett is appearing in a play running until 10 October, where she and co-star Nina Hoss swap roles each night based on a live coin toss.
She joins Rosamund Pike, Cynthia Erivo and Andrew Scott in a growing list of stage stars who have called out audience members for using phones during live performances.
