Communications system still faces speed restrictions despite Trump claim that Musk had resumed full service
Ukrainian forces say Starlink satellite speeds remain capped at around 100mph, contradicting Trump's claim that Musk had lifted restrictions on the service.
The slowdown began after Trump and Musk publicly criticised Ukrainian President Zelenskyy over continued strikes on Russian oil refineries, with both men denying ordering the restrictions.
The capped speeds are hampering Ukrainian drone operations and interception of Russian attacks, as US-Ukraine relations hit a new low amid suspended intelligence-sharing.
