Donald Trump announced plans to convert his proposed 76-metre Washington DC arch into a military complex at the request of the military.
Trump says the structure would house drones, snipers on the roof and plaza, and store large quantities of sniper ammunition between the Lincoln Memorial and Arlington Cemetery.
The project still faces legal challenges and has not received final approval from the National Capital Area Planning Commission, which will revisit it in coming months.
