An Australian pro-democracy activist has reportedly been abducted in Cambodia and taken to Vietnam, where authorities have charged him with terrorism offences.
Vietnam says the men entered the country illegally and accused them of planning terrorist activities.
Pro-democracy group Viet Tan says Vietnamese authorities abducted two of its members, including an Australian citizen, from Cambodia on 18 September.
The Australian man's wife said he was in Cambodia meeting activists and was due to fly home from Bangkok but never arrived.
Vietnam has charged the men with membership of a terrorist organisation, while Viet Tan calls the arrests a fabrication covering transnational repression.
