Former snooker world champion Graeme Dott has been jailed for seven years for child sexual abuse offences against a girl and a boy over nearly two decades.
He was sentenced to seven years in prison after being found guilty of two charges of lewd and libidinous behaviour towards a girl and a boy between 1993 and 2010.
Graeme Dott, the 2006 world snooker champion, was sentenced to seven years in prison at the High Court in Edinburgh for child sexual abuse.
The judge said Dott's behaviour bore the classic hallmarks of grooming, with victims aged as young as eight and nine when the abuse began.
Dott was moved to a different jail after receiving threats from other prisoners following his conviction in Glasgow in August.
