Miranda Kerr: Victoria’s Secret model sets record straight on controversial diet
Miranda Kerr has clarified her unusual diet, including eating bison instead of eggs, is due to a bowel condition called proctitis, not a wellness trend.
Two months after Miranda Kerr sent the internet into a frenzy when she revealed she eats bison instead of egg for breakfast, the Australian supermodel is setting the record straight on the real reason behind her unconventional diet.
Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr explained her strict diet avoiding eggs, dairy, wheat and many vegetables is driven by a medical condition, not personal preference.
Kerr told the Stellar podcast she has proctitis, an inflammation of the inner lining of the rectum, which means certain foods inflame her digestive system.
She laughed that she genuinely misses eggs and stressed that her dietary restrictions are specific to her condition and do not apply to everyone else.
Kerr says what works for her condition does not apply to everyone, so check with your GP before cutting out foods based on celebrity diets.
