Frailty could hold key to early dementia diagnosis
A University of Queensland study found frail older adults are diagnosed with dementia 2 to 6 years earlier, suggesting managing frailty could help delay the disease.
A University of Queensland-led study has found that being frail appears to accelerate the onset of dementia in older people, particularly in those who show little or no signs of the disease.
