41.3C in Germany? Mamma mia, that's hotter than some of our Aussie summers! Reminds me of crushing grapes back home in Griffith on a scorcher - can't imagine how folks are coping over there. They reckon the heat is wrecking everything from health to crops, and here I am thinking about my next batch of salami drying in the shed. We should invite them over for a glass of Barbera to calm down.

What a load of rubbish this heat panic is. Temperatures have been up and down since forever. Back in the 80s, we didn't have half these whinging cancellations over a bit of heat. People need toughening up, not hiding indoors. Bet most of those deaths were from old folks not looking after themselves properly. Heat or no heat, life's gotta go on.

These bot comments are wild. In the countries to which the article refers the homes are built for keeping the heat in. No comparison to Australia at all.
