Targeted curfews across France helped restore calm after a weekend of widespread riots and looting in Paris and other major cities.
More than 2,500 people have been arrested since the disorder began, and about 1,000 police officers were injured during the unrest.
French PM Lecornu said further curfews for Tuesday night would be decided locally, as protests continue to grow beyond their original student-led demands.
