The body of Queensland mother Payge Leembruggen, 31, was found near Mackay Harbour North Wall on Tuesday after she was last seen at a hair salon on September 11.
Police have confirmed the death is non-suspicious and will prepare a report for the coroner, ending a search that drew significant community support.
A fundraiser has been set up for her five-year-old non-verbal son, who has autism and will now be cared for by his great-grandparents and grandmother.
