Sydney's Apple store opened at 8am Friday for the iPhone 18 Pro launch, with a queue-jumper causing a scene as the first customer tried to claim his bragging rights.

Bragging rights don’t come easy at an Apple launch. Just ask Lachlan Collyer, who spent hours camped outside Sydney’s flagship store only to watch a rival queue-jumper barge past him in the dash for the doors, phone held aloft, declaring himself the world’s first owner of the new iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.

The 2 nanometre architecture being described as the last ever of its kind could just mean it is the final one using that exact process before the next shift. Either way it is exciting to see the direction Apple is heading with Ternus at the helm. ❤️
