HBO has greenlit a five-episode revival of Girls, with Lena Dunham and all four core cast members returning a decade after the finale.
Production begins in 2027, and Dunham said the idea came to her around her fortieth birthday when the characters started talking to her again.
Dunham hinted the revival explores where millennial women land in midlife, with Shoshanna running a zero-waste athleisure startup and Marnie on her third marriage.
