Ed Sheeran faces backlash in Ireland after Macklemore's removal from his U.S. tour sparked a row, with politicians, musicians and broadcasters speaking out.
Macklemore performed a pro-Palestinian speech and song at a Sheeran tour date, then was removed from remaining US shows after stadium owners objected.
Sheeran said the removal was driven by promoters and venue owners, including Robert Kraft, not by his own decision.
Irish politicians, musicians and broadcasters have publicly turned on Sheeran, and all remaining opening acts left the tour in solidarity with Macklemore.
