Cristiano Ronaldo has been handed a 30-day suspension and a 255 euro fine by the Portuguese Football Federation after walking out of the national squad last month.
Cristiano Ronaldo is given a 30-day suspension by the Portuguese Football Federation after leaving his country's international camp last month.
The Portuguese Football Federation upheld a disciplinary charge against Ronaldo and imposed a 30-day suspension after he walked out of the national squad in September.
Ronaldo left the squad after being an unused substitute against Norway and learning he would not start against Denmark, accusing coach Jorge Jesus of breaking his word twice.
Despite the punishment, the federation president said there is a strong desire to have Ronaldo back with the national team once the matter is resolved.
