The Australian Communications and Media Authority ruled the ABC's Four Corners program breached its impartiality obligations in a March 2025 episode about the War Memorial.
ACMA found the episode was unbalanced by focusing on deficiencies in the $548 million redevelopment without fully explaining the audit office's overall finding that management was largely effective.
It is the second impartiality breach found against Four Corners this year, and ABC managing director Hugh Marks has rejected the ruling, flagging concerns for investigative journalism.
