2027 GWM Haval H7: Boxy new mid-size SUV to start at under $50,000
GWM's new boxy Haval H7 mid-size SUV goes on sale in October 2026 with hybrid and plug-in hybrid options, priced from under $50,000 drive-away.
GWM will start the rollout of a new, boxier Haval H7 in October with five-seat, all-wheel drive hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants.
GWM confirmed the new Haval H7 will go on sale in mid-October 2026, with expressions of interest now open on the GWM Australia website.
Both hybrid and PHEV variants come with all-wheel drive as standard, with the PHEV producing 320kW and claiming a 0-100km/h time of 4.9 seconds.
A seven-seat extended version is due in 2027, giving GWM a family SUV option below the Tank 500 for the first time.
The PHEV variant claims 137km of electric range and 844km combined range, and GWM says four variants will be offered with prices topping out around $54,000 drive-away.
